  1. Hi there,

First of all, Your nails are amazing. I could never do anything like what you've created.. Ive tried, but i just shake too much :(

I would like to have cool nails though... and I'm a little cheap :)
What brand of nail polish would you say is the best for cheap, and what is he cheapest brand you've been able to do the rainbow nails with? (Container of water, drops of nail polish in, mix with toothpick and transfer to your nails)

    Thanks!

    1. Aw, thank you, you're so sweet!
Do you mean the rainbow nails I use as my display pic? I hand-painted those, but I've done a fair bit of water-marbling if you mean that :). With the nail polish, it really depends where you live. My favourite cheapie in New Zealand is Jordana. It keeps it's consistency, they have a wide range of colours and don't have some of the nasty chemicals in it. And most importantly here, they're generally good for water-marbling! The newer the better, too. If you're somewhere else, Head2Toe (website) sells China Glaze for $3.25, and they're amazing. I've only ever had success with them.
Hope this helps! I'll be doing a video water-marbling tutorial at some point in the next few months :).

    2. Awesome!! Thanks so much! Yeah the water marbling looks like such a good idea for those of us who aren't quite as steady handed as you :)
I am from New Zealand, Auckland to be exact. I think I read somewhere that you got Jordana in a $2 shop, is there a particular $2 shop which you've found stocks them?
Thanks so much for letting me know about Head2Toe, shipping is $11 so I'll have to spend a bit of time deciding what colours I want to get.
I can't wait to get onto doing my nails!

    3. Sweet! Oh cool, I'm actually travelling to Auckland today :). The Jordana polishes I buy are from Coin Save in Palmy, but I'll let you know if I find any shops in Auckland that sell it while I'm there. That's okay! But yeah, shipping kills it for us Kiwis, it's so expensive. If you buy in bulk it's good though. Born Pretty Store sells nail stuff and has free shipping, by the way :)

  2. Oh awesome! Thanks so much!
I've just checked out the site, if you are ever after a few bit and bobs (nail are stripping tape, glitter, jewels ect) - I know you dont use them often but just in case - you should really check out Ebay. I've gotten a few nail things from there for a few dollars and its usually free shipping too.
Thanks and I super appreciate it!!!!

    1. Yeah I've got something coming from ebay at the moment actually. They're really cheap, especially if you win an auction. I should really go on there more. You're welcome!

    1. Oooh that's a hard one! It changes a lot, but at the moment I really love Picture Polish. I only have a few of there polishes but every single one has been amazing so far, and they have the cutest little bottles! Plus they're not as "big" as some of the other brands and I quite like that :). I also love OPI, China Glaze and Maybelline. Hope that's helpful, and aww that's sweet!
